Rachel Drayson
Rachel joined Brook Lyndhurst in April 2007. With a background in geography, she has a particular interest in the behavioural elements of sustainable development.
Since joining the company, Rachel has been involved in research on community behaviour change projects including mapping behaviour change projects across the East Midlands (on behalf of the East Midlands Regional Assembly) and similarly in South London for the South London Partnership.
Also within our community behaviour change work, Rachel has worked on large scale evaluations of Defra’s Environmental Action Fund (2005-2008) and currently on the formative evaluation of the Big Green Challenge for the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA).
Rachel was also part of the Brook Lyndhurst’s recent work to review the current evidence on household waste prevention on behalf of Defra.
Prior to joining Brook Lyndhurst, Rachel worked on policy research and communications campaigns including work for Green Alliance, Green Engage Communications and CABE. She has a Masters degree in Environment Science and Society from University College London (which she passed with distinction) and an honours degree in geography from the University of Durham.
