He has previous experience designing and analysing qualitative interviews and online questionnaires and is an Affiliate Member of the Market Research Society.

Evaluation
Geoff has worked extensively on the analysis of reports for the evaluation of NESTA's Big Green Challenge and Big Green Challenge Plus. Brook Lyndhurst are seeking to extract lessons learned from the community carbon reduction projects taking part in these programmes and Geoff's work has included looking in depth at theoretical behaviour change and community engagement models as well as attempting to draw out the valuable lessons for community-based projects in the future. He recently presented some of his initial findings to NESTA and is currently working on the final report.

Sustainability and Waste Prevention
Geoff has also contributed to a number of other Brook Lyndhurst projects including the Waste Prevention synthesis review for Defra and a project looking into the role of labelling and portion sizes in producing food waste. He has also led research on a project looking at the sustainability of clothing.

Geoff has a BA in Geography from Girton College, Cambridge, and spent a further year reading Management Studies at the Judge Business School. With studies focused on economic, cultural and political geography, he has developed a particular interest in the role of policy in addressing issues of social and environmental justice.
